For using the Sound card in DewesoftX, the Audio card plugin needs to be added to the Addons folder. The audio card plugin can be found on our webpage under the plugins tab.
Open the DewesoftX as an Administrator to get permission to simulate the sound card.
In the settings menu switch to the Simulation mode and from the drop-down menu choose Simulated channels mode --> Sound card.
The desired microphone can be chosen under the DAQ settings:
