Introduction

This article complements the Official release newsletter and focuses on graphically representing features that were briefly mentioned in the newsletter under "What else is new?" section.

The most notable features in 2022.3 release are fully presented in the Offical release newsletter and are listed in the following list.

Time Data Filtered in the Frequency Domain with IFFT

The Frequency domain filter now supports filtering in the frequency domain with IFFT. This is achieved by selecting the Time signal as the Output type in the custom Filter type. The FFT custom filter is applied to the FFT of the input signal and then the filtered FFT is converted back to the time domain with the inverse FFT.

An Additional Message Column Inside the CAN Module Channel Grid

Search by CAN Message is now possible in the CAN module, with the newly enabled Message column within the channel grid.

The Yellow Cursor Aligns With Events From Event Lis

When double clicking on the event inside the event list located in the top right corner of DewsoftX software, the yellow cursor will be positioned/aligned to that event.

An Additional Wi-Fi Strength Channel Is Now Available As System Monitor Channel

The Wireless Signal Quality channel has been added to the system monitor channels.

Additional Temperature Channels for IOLITE Modules Are Now Available as System Monitor Channels

Temperature channels have been added to the system monitor channels for the IOLITE modules. In the image below there are two temperature channels, a CPU and a PCB temperature channels. The ARM microcontroller on the motherboard has an internal temperature sensor. The temperature of this sensor is displayed under the CPU temperature. There is also one additional temperature sensor on the motherboard which is placed on the PCB. The temperature from this second sensor is displayed under the PCB temperature.

An Additional Option to Set Amplifier Ranges is Now Available Inside Sequencer

An additional option in Sequencer's Action block for setting the amplifier range is now available -  SetRange.

Reference Point Module

A new processing plugin Reference Point is available. The new plugin calculates the position, velocity, and acceleration of a point that is offset from an initial point of measurement.
