Why this FAQ?
Windows 11 is Microsoft's latest major operating system, released in October 2021 as the successor to Windows 10. Since the beginning of 2025, most companies are migrating to Windows 11 to keep systems current and secure. The OS requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot—features many older systems, including ours, lack. To ensure transparency and minimize confusion, we've prepared this FAQ covering the most common questions about Windows 11 and its hardware requirements.
